Is anyone could Could anyone help me to correct my response to this essay or get it better please?

People benefit more from traveling in their own country than from traveling to foreign countries.

Some people benefit more for travelling in their own country. In my opinion, travelling to other country is more benefit .
The first point I would like to make is that going abroad permit to discover an other culture that is to say, learn or listen an other language, taste different food, or to get a look to a different way of life. For example, I benefited when I travelled to United States because I learn their way of life. I notice that people where more direct when they talk each other and that let me think that I have sometimes inspire me of them. Concerning the food, I saw that all portions where bigger than in France , and contain more added suggar for exemple on ice cream or hamburgers.
The second point I would like to make is that travelling to other country and live abroad for a while permit to escape from our routine and from country’s issues. To illustrate, when I travel I don’t hear about news from France or political fights about immigration or about economic issues. I think travel abroad and have changes is good for mental health.
