Hello.
1. Don't forget capital letters for names!
2. You began in the past (...there was...) and you should continue in the past.
Once upon a time, there was a chief of a tribe : chief joseph. He was terrible because he hate_ his people and he doesn’t give them ____ to eat. But the youngest boy in the tribe was intelligent and he went to speak to this chief. The chief was very angry to was humiliate_from (different preposition) a child and he run away. He left the territory and we never heard something* about him.
*You hear something or you don't hear anything. Another good way to say this would be with passive voice. Nothing..ever heard or He...never heard. I'll leave you to fill in what is missing.
Sherry

Bonjour,
voici quelques points à corriger :
Once upon a time, there was a chief of a tribe : chief joseph (majuscule). He was terrible because he hates (non : prétérit) his people and he doesn’t (idem)give them something (non : pas 'something' dans une expression à la forme négative) to eat. But the youngest boy in the tribe was intelligent and he went to speak to this chief. The chief was very angry to was(infinitif) humiliate (faute : il manque une lettre) by a child and he run(prétérit) away. He left the territory and we don't hear (pas le bon temps) anything (pas 'anything') about him.
Bon courage !
