Pouvez-vous m'aider s'il vous plaît à corriger ce devoir?

When I was little, I remember one day I was sleeping in my room it was about 6 in the evening. I woke because I had heard a sound of people coming from the living room. Unfortunately when I woke up, I looked at the corner of the room and I saw in the dark, something like a ghost standing in front of my bed. He was wearing a long coat and a hat. I didn’t dare to get up of bed because I was scared stiff. I remember when I was from 4 till 10 I used to be frightened of ghost stories so when this happened, I thought I was going to die. Luckily for me, my mother came 10 minutes later just to see if I had woken up. When she turned on the light, I finally realised that it was my father’s coat which was hung up on the wall with a hat on the top. I was relieved but insisted to have this coat taken out of my room.
