je souhaiterais de l'aide pour la correction d'un exposé en anglais, qui rentre dans le thème 'lieux et formes de pouvoirs'. Pouvez-vous m'indiquer quelles sont mes fautes ?

I am going to speak about the place of the women in the society, which is in the topic Forms and Location of Power. There are many inequalities between men and women. The place of the women seems to have evolved. Some laws have been gradually voted for women to reach the same rights as men.
Before 1914, women have no political power: they do not have the right to vote, they can not sign any contract alone. At this time, it is the husband who manages the property and money of the couple. A woman can not go to work without the permission of her husband.
In 1911, only 55% of women worked. Women had only to take care of children and family at home. In 1924, Education for women and men become the same : they have the same program at the bachelor. Women get the right to vote in 1944 and will vote for the first time in 1945.
In 1960, feminist movements become more numerous and pressure. Simone Veil was one of the first women in the political world. She was the first president of the European Parliament elected in 1979. She has legalized abortion on 17 January 1975. It was her hardest political fight, and the one for which she is best known. The abortion debate was a particularly difficult time. Some people were opposed to the law launched personal and aggressive attacks against Veil and her family. However, since the passing of the law, many have paid tribute to Veil and thanked her for her courageous and determined fight.
Women will also have the right to work without the permission of their husbands, and for the first time, women's wages will start to be equal to those of men.
During the twentieth century, considerable progress has been made in the fight against inequality between men and women. Women had no autonomy at the beginning of the century, but are now theoretically equal to men. However, equality is not yet reached, and the fight is not over.
