Bonsoir!
The document is the front cover of a magazine called "life".It was published by the United States of America during the world war II on july 1943.We can notice a girl who is sitting on the wing of a plane. So,we can assume that she is a member of the U.S Army and more precisely we can say that she is a pilot. The narrator is a girl, who came from a wealthy family.Despite of being under age,she has the detemination, the courage and the will power to be enlisted as a Pilot. We can think that she has a patrioctic feeling, but she tell herself that she became a soldier in order to flee away her suffocating and narrow life with her parent. She even longed to grow indepedant of her parents, but in the start of that life she had no money and no work because of her age.But she overcome this ordeal and she even fulfil his dream of becoming a Pilot.
It was surely thanks to the lack of male pilots since they were sent overseas during the World War II.A a result, there was a shorteage of pilots,so female pilots were recruited.
One of the worse episode of the World War II,it was the Blitz. It is a world episode, when Germany bombed London and some other English big cities with a Aerial Raid.
