Defining clause/aide

Bonjour,
exusez moi mais il y a un truc que je n'arrive pas à comprendre c'est defining et non defining clause ............
ex:
my brother who lives in london is a doctor
the man who lives in this house is a magician
which is defining and no defining? if you have the answer please help me because I want to understand defining and no defining.

BonjourMy brother, who lives in London, is a doctor.
Ton frère est médecin. Il habite à Londres (non-defining).
The brother who lives in London is a doctor. (who lives in London = defining clause)
Seulement le frère qui habite à Londres est médecin.
The man who lives in this house is a magician. (who lives in this house = defining clause)
Seulement l'homme qui habite dans cette maison est un magicien.
Très souvent, les propositions non-définies se trouvent entre des virgules.
