Centurion Crismus Bonus, head of the Roman garrison at the fortified camp of Compendium was very keen on discovering the secret of the Gauls' superhuman strength after so he sent a spy disguised as a Gaul into the village. The spy reported his discovery back to the Centurion. Crismus believed that with this potion, he could overthrow Julius Caesar, and became Emperor himself. So, he ordered to kidnap the druid and then he tortured him.
Asterix learnt of Getafix's capture, and managed to sneak into the Roman camp where Getafix was being held captive. He heard Crismus was planning to overthrow Caesar using the magic potion. Asterix found Getafix and they concocted a scheme to trouble the Romans. Getafix pretended to agree to the Centurion's ultimatum of making the potion, and demanded unusual ingredients. While Crismus soldiers try to found this unusual ingredients, Asterix and Getafix were lounging around in comparative luxury, enjoying themselves at the Romans' expense.
After all the ingredients were found, Getafix prepared a fake potion. The Romans had tested it on one man , and when he tested his strength on Asterix, Asterix pretended to be knocked out. The Romans had drunk the potion and all of them were poisoned. They pleaded with Getafix to made an antidote, so he did an antidote and he also prepared a small quantity of the real magic potion for Asterix to drank so that they could fight their way out.
As Getafix and Asterix were attempting to escape, they were stopped by a huge army of Roman reinforcements are captured again. It turned out that Julius Caesar was leading the army and checking on the condition of the area. Upon meeting Asterix and Getafix, Caesar learnt of Crismus Bonus' intentions. He punished Crismus and frees Asterix and Getafix for giving him the information, while reminding them that they are still enemies.

Cordialement,
Bend86

Centurion Crismus Bonus, head of the Roman garrison at the fortified camp of Compendium was very (eager to + infinitif irait mieux)keen on discovering the secret of the Gauls' superhuman strength after so he sent a spy disguised as a Gaul into the village. Asterix learnt of Getafix's capture, and managed to sneak into the Roman camp where Getafix was being held captive. He heard Crismus was planning to overthrow Caesar using the magic potion. Asterix found Getafix and they concocted a scheme to trouble(to annoy?) the Romans. Getafix pretended to agree to the Centurion's ultimatum of making the potion, and demanded unusual ingredients. While Crismus soldiers try(prétérit en ing) to found this unusual ingredients, Asterix and Getafix were lounging around in comparative luxury, enjoying themselves at the Romans' expense.
After all the ingredients were (had been) found, Getafix prepared a fake potion. The Romans had tested it on one man , and when he tested his strength on Asterix, Asterix pretended to be knocked out. The Romans (had) drunk the potion and all of them were poisoned. They pleaded with Getafix to made an antidote, so he did(made) an antidote and he also prepared a small quantity of the real magic potion for Asterix to drank (infinitif) so that they could fight their way out.
As Getafix and Asterix were attempting to escape, they were stopped by a huge army of Roman reinforcements and captured again. It turned out that Julius Caesar was leading the army and checking on the condition of the area. Upon meeting Asterix and Getafix, Caesar learnt of Crismus Bonus's intentions. He punished Crismus and freed Asterix and Getafix for giving him the information, while reminding them that they are (prétérit) still enemies.
