bonjour, pouvez vous m'aider a corriger cet exposé sur Ernest Rutherford, le célèbre physicien
Rutherford discovered that the uranic radiation, was divided into 3 beams : the positive named the alpha; the negative : the beta and the neutral the gamma.
Rutherford has done many discoveries but the most important one was the nucleus of the atom in 1911. This experience became historical.
He took a gold foil and radioactive elements which produce alpha particles. Then he put a fluorescent screen behind the gold foil and observed that the particles went through the foil and were projected on the screen.
But some particles came back sometimes. Rutherford deduced that the particles were returned by something strong and solid and that there is a nucleus at the center of it.
As the particles went through most of the time, nothing prevented the particles to go through, so Rutherford deduced that it was just emptiness.
The particles collided with something stronger and heavier so, Rutherford interpreted that the mass of the atom is gathered in the nucleus.
In the 20th century, the atom was known but we didn’t know its structure. We only knew that it is electrically neutral, so that there are electrons (negative ) but we did’nt know where the positive load was. It was the Plum-Pudding model by Thompson. Rutherford discovered the nucleus and thought that the nucleus was surrounded by electrons in gravity.
In 1913, Bohr corrected him by discovering that the electrons were distributed in layers…the layer K, the layer L, the layer M.

je regarde la grammaire, je vous fait confiance quant-au fond
