Bonjour !
Comme j'ai deux notions à préparer pour mon oral d'anglais, j'aurais aussi besoin d'aide pour la notion "Idée de progrès" s'il vous plait.
Voilà mon introduction :
Progress is a development to make our lives better. It deals with a lot of subjects like development of countries and of the world, new ways of communication, technologies and innovations and even personalities took part of progress ! It shows how the world have been moving through years to become the world we know now. We may wonder : is progress always positive ?
et ma conclusion :
To cap it all, progress is probably everywhere around us and it allowed to change the mentalities and the habits all around the world, by the economy, technologies, or even persons or music... But it also implies worse sides by creating new dangers like nuclear bombs. So to my mind, progress generally helps us to live better but we have to be careful with it.
Et d'autres phrases où j'ai des doutes:
New ways of communication implies dangers too : for example, it permits to spy the world, what we have seen in the recent scandal of the NSA.
But technological progress is not always a benefit, like the nuclear bombs, which killed a lot of people.
Music is also a vector of social progress ; for example, Michael Jackson, called the « King of Pop », was the first black who had white fans in America. But music, universal by expressing feelings through the tune and the rythm, can also take part of progress by protest songs against war, injustice, political subjects or racism.
