Bonjour !
Power is the ability to exercise control on somebody or on a group. So it's a might that can be exerted by many ways, non violent or violent, by a person, group or government. Power implies counter-powers too : how can we limit power, how can we resist to it ? / Where is power ?
To sum up, power has a lot of faces : violent with gendercide in India or assassination of JFK for example, and non-violent like the power of technologies. But against these powers, we can find counter-powers, illustrated by famous persons or actions.

See you!

Merci pour cet éclairage ! ;)
Voilà des phrases à propos desquelles j'ai quelques doutes :
Governements have an indisputable power in societies. They can be democracies, which let people choose their governement, or dictatorships, but both of them control States.
North Korea is an exemple of dictatorship ; Kim Jong-Un is the leader and lets nobody counter his power ; for example, he made kill his uncle last year because he'd have emitted ideas against the political Party.
USA is often confronted to the gun's issue. A lot of people asks to restrict the possibility to have weapons because of all the dramas they cause. But the second amendment in the Constitution allows people to carry a gun, so it's deeply increed in the American history.
the government offered technical assistance, staff and more equipement, and in exchange, Hollywood had to glorify the USA. So, we saw how governement can use its power by arts and how arts can have an influence on people.
It just reveals the Aborigene conditions : they are a tiny population but the poorest of Australia, because Australian government forgets them ; so it reflects the power of medias on people.
He fought against the apartheid and was sent / sentenced to jail. But when he went out, he became the first black president of South-Africa.
They just stretched a net with a « stop » marked on in front of the boat. So, it's a pacifical way to protest against power.
Merci d'avance !

Bonsoir,

He had his uncle executed last year because he had alledgedly spoken against the (political) Party.
The USA (pays pluriel, donc the) is often confronted to the gun's issue. A lot of people asks to restrict the possibility to have weapons because of all the dramas they cause. But the second amendment in the Constitution allows people to carry a gun, so it's deeply increed(??) in
