Bonjour,
j'ai réalisé ce devoir sur la notion de mythes et héros (une synthèse) qui est pour l'oral du bac, pourriez-vous me donner votre avis. J'essaie de le réduire un petit peu car il me semble un peu trop long donc si vous voyez quelque chose qui pour vous n'est pas nécessaire..

Notion Myth and hero
(Intro) By definition, a myth is an explanatory narrative and founder of a social practice. It is originally carried by oral tradition. The myth is a fabulous story that can contain a moral. Finally, a myth often involves several wonderful characters such as gods, animals, scholars, angels and demons, and the existence of other worlds. Then, according to the dictionary, a hero is a demigod and he stands out by his actions and shows great courage. A hero can be the main character in a story (movie, theater, books ...). Of this fact and the documents discussed in class, we may ask under what circumstances reality is inspired by myths and heroes. At first, we will look at a hero taken from reality, then we will analyze a reality inspired by myths but also their opposites.
(I) The real world is made up of several "heroes", they may be war heroes, saviors of humanity ... In this case we'll look at a man who saved an entire community from segregation slavery, Martin Luther King. Indeed, President Barack Obama pays tribute to this man (and his speech "I Have a Dream") by a poignant speech. Martin Luther king has indeed freed black people from slavery (Emancipation Proclamation), he ended the segregation of blacks also called Negroes.
(II) There is a myth of zero immigration which is what refers to the image of Jeff Parker. Indeed, the fact that there is no migration between countries is a myth, immigrants from one country could not enter another one because they could not learn the language and assimilate into the culture of this country.
As a contrast, the reality presents something else. At the border between the United States and Mexico, for example, there is the problem of immigration; too many Mexicans are seeking to enter the United States illegally. The cause of this immigration is unfortunately the difference in economic development of the 2 countries, the U.S. being richer. To remedy this, the Americans have closed a portion of the border by building a wall and seek to minimize the influx of Mexican immigrants.

Hello perso !
Partie I : Vous confondez "Emancipation" et "Civil Rights".L'"Emancipation Act" date de 1863 (le President était Abraham Lincoln)Cette loi abolissait l'esclavage.
Les Droits civiques ,grâce à l'action incessante de Martin Luther King et d'autres militants remarquables, ont été obtenus 100 ans plus tard . (presidents J.F.Kennedy ,puis L.B.Johnson)
En ce qui concerne la partie II ,je ne vois pas le rapport avec "mythe et héros "...

déjà merci de vous être donné la peine de me répondre, les deux parties parlent de documents vus précédemment en cours,alors pour la première partie je remplacerais cette phrase :
"Martin Luther king has indeed freed black people from slavery (Emancipation Proclamation), he ended the segregation of blacks also called Negroes"
par simplement ça :
Martin Luther king has indeed freed black people from slavery, he ended the segregation of blacks also called Negroes",

Hello perso !
Relisez ce que je vous ai écrit .L'esclavage (slavery) a été aboli en 1863 .Cent ans plus tard, Martin Luther King (avec de nombreux militants courageux et déterminés et à l'issue d'une longue lutte )a obtenu les Droits Civiques (Civil Rights ).C'est à dire que les Noirs avaient enfin le droit de s'inscrire sur les listes électorales , de voter, d'être élus ,mais la fin de la segrégation ne s'est pas faite sans difficultés .
On a cessé de dire "negroes" qui était devenu péjoratif (surtout à cause des adjectifs obligeants qui les qualifiaient) pour dire "Black people" (le slogan était "Black is beautiful" )et Afro Americans .
Il y a de nombreux documents sur le sujet(textes,photos, vidéos) .Consultez-les !
