Hi everybody
I have a question involving the use of linking words "by the way/incidentally"
Using these words means we talk about another subject which is mentioned. That means that they use "by the way" or "incidentally" to give out some extra information.
But the word "incidentally" is just used in writing, isn't it?
Thank you for your answers.

Hello,
both are used in spoken English. 'incidentally' is slightly more formal than 'by the way'.
Regards.
