pouvez-vous m'aider s'il vous plait à corriger ces phrases.

Every time a white saw us when we went to school,he said : « Poor should become again slaves »
Today ,we would like to say : They made a big mistake .The poor are like the rich.We have got a heart.
We worked well, we became teachers.But we taught to everyone.
One day, my mother was thirsty. So she drank from the fountain reserved for the white people because the other was empty. She had to pay a fine.

merci mais n'ai pas compris ce qu'il manquait dans la première phrase.
