Bonsoir à tous,
Je suis toute nouvelle sur le site et je suis débutante en anglais.
J'ai justement un petit texte à présenter à l'oral sur Ellis Island pour demain mais j'ai peur d'avoir fait quelques erreurs...
Pourriez-vous m'aider à le corriger s'il vous plait ?

Ellis Island is an Island between New York and Jersey. It’s near the Liberty Island with the Statue of the Liberty.
Ellis Island was the immigrant’s island because twelve millions of European people are spent on the island to go in New York. Ellis Island is U-shaped to accommodate boats.
A museum on the immigrants is open for the island.
This Island is little but it’s famous and it’s an important historic site.

méfiez-vous des traductions mot-à mot du type:
twelve millions of European people are spent on the island : douze millions d'européens sont passés sur l'ile parce que c'est vraiment faux !! to spend: passer du temps...

Ellis Island was the immigrant’s(un seul immigrant?) island because twelve millions of European people are spent on the island to go in New York. Ellis Island is U-shaped to accommodate boats.

This Island is little but it’s famous and it’s an important historical site.
millions est un nom: Millions of people died in the concentration camps.
million, adjectif numéral, est invariable: about four million people died during that famine.
