Correction pp simple/pp -ing

Bonjour,
j'ai trouvé des phrases sur mon cahier d'exercice
J'aimerais savoir si la traduction est correcte

Consigne : Traduire en utilisant du Prétérit, Present Perfect ou Present Perfect Be+Ing
1. Il se peut que ce soit la 1ère fois qu'ils visitent le pays
2. Ca fait quelques années que je n'ai pas gouté la cuisine de ta mère
3. Elle a appris la nouvelle à la radio
4. Je trouve que la nourriture anglaise s'améliore depuis quelques temps
5. Ca fait longtemps que je n'ai pas eu la grippe
6. Ca faisait 2 heures qu'ils attendaient sous la pluie
7. Ils devaient croire que les renseignements étaient faux
8. Ca doit faire des heures qu'il neige. C'est tout blanc.
9. Il se peut qu'ils ne sachet pas ça depuis longtemps
10 Il a travaillé dans le nord de l'Écosse dans les années 70
11. Elle a beaucoup maigri depuis la dernière fois que je l'ai vue

Je propose quelques commentaires..
2. I haven't tasted your mother's cooking for years
3. She learned the news on the radio
4. I think that English food have been improving for some time

7. They had to (must au passé) believe that these requirements were false
9. It may be they hasn't known this for a long time
10. He has worked in North Scotland since the 1970's
11. She much has lost weight since the last time I saw he
2. La phrase est correcte mais pas très naturelle..
-"tasted" pourrait être rendu par un verbe plus neutre ("manger"), idem pour "cooking" (vous savez dire "nourriture"?)
3. "learned" ou "has learned/learnt", mais en anglais américain on choisira "learned"...
4. Comment considérez-vous "English food" en ce qui concerne le "nombre"? Singulier ou pluriel?
6. Comment traduit-on "sous la pluie"? Vous ne connaissez pas cette vieille chanson "I'm singing -- the rain"?
7. Attention au sens du verbe "devoir"! "Ils devaient" n'a aucun rapport avec l'obligation ici, mais avec la probabilité.
Quel auxiliaire modal traduit ce sens?
"Requirements" : est-ce vraiment la manière de traduire "renseignements"?
9. "Il se peut qu'il ... " = en anglais, l'accent sera mis sur le véritable sujet, qui est "He". Donc, commencez votre
phrase par ce sujet.
10.Relisez la phrase : cela s'est passé dans les années 70! C'est donc terminé = past simple! + "dans les..."ne se traduit pas par "since".
+ "le nord de l'Ecosse" nécessite un article.
11.Problème de syntaxe : "beaucoup de poids" est un complément et en anglais, on préfère le placer après le verbe + je ne
choisirais pas "much" + "...que je l'ai vue" : comment analysez-vous ce " l' " ? c'est un complément, donc...?

HelloI find "I haven't tasted your mother's cooking" quite natural, myself.
I love my dad's cooking (= the food that he cooks). (Cambridge)

"I learned" is better in this instance because hearing the news happened in a finished period of time.

La 9 est impossible à traduire mot à mot, il faut donc traduire l'idèe qu'elle exprime.
