pouvez-vous me dire si mes deux phrases sont bonnes? Merci d'avance.

The main character chooses (decides) to go to this restaurant because he would like a beer and the Chinese restaurant was not licensed to serve alcohol. Besides, the "Bob's H..." was the only (manque un nom bar/pub/restaurant) open.
