Correction/about the bridge

Pouvez vous me corriger ma phrase s'il vous plaît?
Derrière le château, il y a un magnifique vieux pont de pierre sur la rivière.
Behind, the castle, there is a magnificent old stone bridge across the river.

Ma proposition :
Behind the castle, (en supprimant la virgule entre behind et the castle)
there is a magnificent old stone bridge over the river.

Bonjour,
A bridge over the river would translate to : un pont sur la rivière.
A bridge across the river would be : un pont qui enjambe la rivière.
I think that 'over' would work here.
