Are there different verbs in French to express LIKE and LOVE, or is it AIMER for both? Thank you.

Hello
Usually, in French we say " aimer beaucoup" ou "adorer" for "love".

generally,
like = bien aimer (or) aimer bien ex: i like .. = j'aimes bien ..
love= aimer
you can also say,
love= chérir , adorer, s'éprendre (de quelqu'un)
if you deeply admire (love) someone for exemple "a star" you can say "aduler" also "venérer" (here it's more about "God" ... something like this...)
like= affectionner, s'attacher à quelque chose ou quelqu'un...
that's all...

Hello ! this is a serious question, as french people do make a big difference
between like and love. You can say "je t'aime" to your girl/boy friend, husband or wife, rarely to a member of your family, and "je t'aime bien" to someone who's
just supposed to be your friend (or even your best friend). It is a matter of fact, that french people rarely say "je t'aime" as we spend more time to expess the mood instead of talking about it. It is a mistake to say "je t'aime" to a good/best friend as this can put you in a very unconfortable situation, if you're not sure of the feelings of your friend.
Have a good day.
Oliver
