Je reviens après une absence de près de deux semaines.
Voici un autre exercice dans le même style que je vous ai déjà proposé.
Trouver la proposition qui convient.

6. It's actually a difficult choice, which way you look at it.

9. He had never written a book like this before.

Voici la correction.
1. There are fewer and fewer trees... (Il y a de moins en moins de...): comparatif double.
2. We'll consider any suggestion... (Nous examinerons toute/nimporte quelle suggestion, pourvu qu'elle soit réaliste.): sens de any dans une phrase affirmative # 'quelque(s) dans une phrase négative, interrogative ou interro-négative
3. Don't forget to shut the door before leaving. (N'oubliez pas de fermer la porte avant de partir): verbe suivant une prépostion --> ING
4. He won't get the job, will he? (Il n'obtiendra pas le poste, n'est-ce pas ?): équivalent de "n'est-ce pas" après une phrase au futur et à la forme négative.
5. She must have come while I was in London. (Elle a dû venir pendant que j'étais à Londres)
6. It's actually a difficult choice, whichever way...(...de quelque manière que vous le considérez)
7. Won't you take some more? (Vous en prendrez bien encore un peu ?)
8. Hardly had he started the car when ...(A peine avait-il mis la voiture en marche qu'il entendit un bruit étrange): hardly + when (inversion du sujet quand "hardly en début de phrase); no sooner + than
9. He had never written a book like this before. (Il n'avait jamais écrit un livre comme celui-là avant.)
10 I'll get in touch with you as soon as I have Jane's... (Je me mettrai en contact avec vous dès que j'aurai le nouveau numéro de téléphone de Jane.): après les conjonctions "when" (avec le sens de lorsque, quand) et "as soon as", on utilise le "Present Simple Tense" en anglais au lieu du futur qui est utilisé dans les mêmes conditions, mais en français.
