3- Very high. (w g t n r) 3 towering = imposant.
4- (Pretending to be) shy. (y c) 1 coy = faussement pudique.
5- A small stream. (r b k) 2 brook = ruisseau.
6- A large fierce fresh-water fish. (k p) pike = brochet.
7- To burn with a bright unsteady light. (l f r) 2 flare = flamber.
8- A synonym of "a story". (r v n t r) 4 narrative = récit.
9- To breathe quickly, after running etc. (f p f) 1 puff = haleter.
10- Bad-tempered. (h t t r c c) 3 crotchety = irritable, grincheux.
