Find the missing vowels and unscramble the consonants in order to get the right word.
The numbers of vowels are still given.

2- A type of tree with long, slender branches. (l w l w) 2 willow = saule (pleureur).
3- Very dirty or filthy. (d q s l) 3 squalid = sordide, misérable.
4- A plant, a member of the lily family, growing from a bulb and having a sweet-smelling flower. (n h h c t) 3 hyacinth = jacinte
5- Fine sand and mud left behind by flowing water. (l s t) 1 silt = vase, bourbe, limon.
6- To think or act in an abnormal way. (p w r) 1 warp = pervertir (The Misssing Vowels-321)
7- Pitiful; unhappy because left alone. (l f n r r) 2 forlorn = seul, abandonné.
8- A synonym of "exciting". ..... (l h g n t l r) 2 thrilling = palpitant.
9- To eat or wear away (metals etc). (d r) 3 erode = éroder.
10- A house, flat etc. (n w g l l d) 2 dwelling = habitation, demeure.
