Find the missing vowels and unscramble the consonants in order to get the right word.
This week, you still have all the numbers of vowels.

3- A herb which grows in water and is often used in salads. ..... (r c w s t s r) 3
4- A tube or pipe for fluids etc. ..... (c d t) 1
5- Breathing only slightly, due to anxiety, excitement etc. ..... (t d b) 2
6- To make a quick, tapping sound (of rain, footsteps etc). ..... (t p r t) 2
7- A regular beat. ..... (h r b t) 1
8- To argue about the price of something or about the terms of an agreement. ..... (g h l g) 2
9- A hunted animal or bird. ..... (r r q) 3
10- A kind of crisp, crumbling biscuit. ..... (b d h t r s r) 3

3- A herb which grows in water and is often used in salads. .... watercress
4- A tube or pipe for fluids etc. .... duct
5- Breathing only slightly, due to anxiety, excitement etc. .... bated
6- To make a quick, tapping sound (of rain, footsteps etc). ... patter
7- A regular beat. ..... throb
8- To argue about the price of something or about the terms of an agreement. ..... haggle

3- A herb which grows in water and is often used in salads. (r c w s t s r) 3 watercress = cresson.
4- A tube or pipe for fluids etc. (c d t) 1 duct = un canal, un conduit.
5- Breathing only slightly, due to anxiety, excitement etc. (t d b) 2 bated = en retenant son souffle.
6- To make a quick, tapping sound (of rain, footsteps etc).(t p r t) 2 patter = crépitement, bruits de pas.
7- A regular beat. (h r b t) 1 throb = un battement, une pulsation, une vibration.
8- To argue about the price of something or about the terms of an agreement. (g h l g) 2 haggle = marchander.
9- A hunted animal or bird. (r r q) 3 quarry = gibier.
10- A kind of crisp, crumbling biscuit. (b d h t r s r) 3 shortbread= sablé, pavé...(biscuit, gâteau).
