Find the missing vowels and unscramble the consonants in order to get the right word.

This week, all the numbers of vowels are given.

1- To fasten (a ship etc) by a rope, cable or anchor. ..... (r m) 2

2- To wander; to roam. ..... (v r) 2

3- Tin or other metal in the form of very thin sheets, used for wrapping etc. ..... (f t l n) 3

4- To urge or force. ..... (p m l) 2

5- To look with difficulty. ..... (r p) 2

6- A synonym of "enough". ..... (f t s c n f) 4

7- A rough, steep mountain or rock. ..... (r g c) 1

8- A large strip of cloth bearing a slogan etc. ..... (n r b n) 2

9- To complain. ..... (r s g) 3

10- Deeply affected, overwhelmed or afflicted. ..... (k t s n r c) 2

Here is my try :

1- To fasten (a ship etc) by a robe, cable or anchor. .... moor

2- To wander; to roam. .... rove

3- Tin or other metal in the form of very thin sheets, used for wrapping etc. .... tinfoil

4- To urge or force. .... impel

5- To look with difficulty. .... peer

6- A synonym of "enough". .... sufficient

7- A rough, steep mountain or rock. ..... crag

8- A large strip of cloth bearing a slogan etc. .... banner

9- To complain. ..... grouse

10- Deeply affected, overwhelmed or afflicted. ..... stricken

1- To fasten (a ship etc) by a rope, cable or anchor. (r m) 2 moor = mouiller (jeter l'ancre).
2- To wander; to roam. (v r) 2 rove = errer.
3- Tin or other metal in the form of very thin sheets, used for wrapping etc. (f t l n) 3 tinfoil = papier aluminium.
4- To urge or force. (p m l) 2 impel = inciter, encourager, propulser.
5- To look with difficulty.(r p) 2 peer = regarder avec difficultés.
6- A synonym of "enough". (f t s c n f) 4 sufficient = suffisant.
7- A rough, steep mountain or rock. (r g c) 1 crag = rocher escarpé.
8- A large strip of cloth bearing a slogan etc. (n r b n) 2 banner = banderole.
9- To complain. (r s g) 3 grouse = se plaindre.
10- Deeply affected, overwhelmed or afflicted. (k t s n r c) 2 stricken = être touché par.
