Hello, Dear Friends,

Quelques changements dans notre exercice, puisqu’il ne faut pas se figer dans la routine. Incidemment, sans vraiment vous plaindre, certains m’ont dit que le « Rack your Brains » précédent vous avait pris beaucoup de temps ; d’autres ont avoué qu’il restait des zones d’ombre à la fin du travail. Je souhaite qu'elles se soient dissipées avec la correction lundi (et j’espère vraiment qu'elles le seront) et que vous aurez appris beaucoup (c’est aussi ce que vous dites …)
Nous allons donc commencer, cette fois par le « reordering » (4 phrases toutes moins longues, pour cet exercice ). Une fois le thème élucidé, vous pourrez vous amuser à corriger mon « pauvre élève » … Il n’a pas multiplié les fautes cette fois, mais a changé de « gymnastique » mentale ...

Pas d’avalanche de fautes, cette fois … Il n’y en a QUE 12. Mais il vous faudra les détecter et les corriger. (Attention ! Vous pourriez être tentés de trouver plus de fautes que les 12 annoncées, mais ce serait vouloir pénaliser les « régionalismes » et expressions familières. Ne le faites pas ! Ne « sanctionnez » que "la grammaire/ syntaxe/ vocabulaire » fautifs."
Puis, vous choisirez un problème de temps que vous avez corrigé (il y en a, bien sûr, dans les fautes à corriger ), et vous expliquerez en une phrase courte pourquoi c’était faux, et pourquoi votre correction est bonne.

«...and had got a fine as a result » : pas de prétérit (action passé qui n'a aucun lien avec le présent), mais un plus perfect, car il y a encore des conséquences sur le présent, le fait que cette maman n'aidera plus l'école comme elle l'avait fait avant d'avoir eu l'amende...

Translation :
Mère de trois enfants, Hey Ward, 45 ans, de Cardiff a récupéré sa fille Isabelle de l’École Primaire pour l'emmener skier à Andorre durant cinq jours, l'an dernier et cette demande la condamna à une amende.

C'est vraiment commode d'avoir mon médecin, un supermarché pratique et bien achalandé, et un beau parc arboré pour les chaudes journées d'été, à deux pas de mon appartement.

This restaurant, opposite my anciant flat, is closed now, because the owner had been sometimes an EASY-GOING man, but more often his customers had been snubbed: so this owner has already gone bankrupt twice, of course !
Ce restaurant, en face de mon ancien appartement, est maintenant fermé, car le propriétaire était parfois un homme commode, mais plus souvent, il rabrouait ses clients : aussi, ce propriétaire a déjà fait faillite deux fois, bien évidemment ! (Really !)...

Attention! Vous avez presque tous les droits pour poster vos prestations. :

- ne pas faire toutes les parties de l'ensemble,
- le poster par "morceaux" (pas trop petits, si possible - "l'exercice" est l'unité en dessous de laquelle il ne faudrait pas descendre ...)
- mettre tout ou partie "in progress" (en bleu, pas trop longtemps, si possible,) MAIS, surtout, dans ce cas là, n'oubliez pas de ne pas poster "en catimini" , mais de m' envoyer un mp en même temps que vous mettez "Ready for Correction" sinon, en plus de rendre cette correction ingérable, vous courez le risque de ne pas avoir votre correction "à temps" (avant la correction collective), et de m'obliger à revenir sur un exercice pour corriger des "compléments" alors que je pensais avoir corrigé "l'oeuvre entière" (et que je suis déjà bien engagée dans l'exercice suivant ...)

A 16h26, à la fin de ma correction de "Our Story 32", j'ai écrasé tout mon fichier de l'exercice 132: Rack your Brains 22/ et histoire 32 ...
Mon gendre vient d'essayer, en vain de récupérer le tout, (vos corrections, la mienne et tout mon travail de préparation de celles-ci ... une cinquantaine de pages de Word ...
J'avais pratiquement terminé l'envoi des corrections du Rack your Brains, et juste commencé l'envoi de celles du 132 ... et je dois tout recommencer ce qui n'était pas parti ...
La série 133/ 23/ 33 est prête, mais je dois refaire les corrections collectives. Je vais me concentrer sur celles-ci jusqu'aux deadlines - demain, mercredi - et essayer de refaire vos corrections non envoyées le plus vite possible (mais en retard, bien sûr... hello everyone,
my proposal for the text :

Hev Ward, mère de trois enfants, de Cardiff, avait fait rater l'école primaire à sa fille Isabelle, 11 ans pendant cinq jours l'année dernière pour aller faire du ski en Andorre, le résultat a été une amende!!
Elle a dit : " Isabelle avait été présente à 97,4% et ses notes étaient bonnes, donc je pensais qu'il n'y aurait pas de problème.
Mais quand j'ai demandé la semaine, le directeur a dit non. "J'ai reçu une amende par la poste de 60 £ à notre retour à la maison.
Une autre des familles avec qui nous sommes parties, avait deux enfants de 10 ans qui étaient scolarisés dans une autre école locale. Aucun d'entre eux n'a été condamné à une amende.
"J'ai ressenti de l'amertume, et ma relation avec l'école a changé, alors qu'avant j'étais bénévole et je faisais des choses pour aider, après cela, je me suis dite" pourquoi devrais-je faire du bénévolat s'ils ne sont pas là pour m'aider?

Juste quelques détails minimes ...

Au Pays de Galles, le nombre de vacances familiales non autorisées s'est accru après que des amendes forfaitaires eurent été introduites en 2013.

2) Several respondents to a survey said that the level of the fine was too low to encourage behaviour change.
Plusieurs répondants à une enquête ont déclaré que le niveau de l'amende était trop bas pour encourager un changement de comportement.

3) In this deprived area, many families cannot afford the costs of a holiday out of term time.
Dans ce milieu défavorisé, de nombreuses familles n'ont pas les moyens de se payer des vacances en dehors de la période scolaire.

pour l'indicatif (passé antérieur après "après que". Je le trouve cependant un peu lourd et préfère la transposition : verbe => nom.
