In the pharmaceutical industry, the galenic formulation of an oral suspension is a delicate work because of its difficult stability which is the result of the complicated formula.
Indeed, the principal objective of this study is the resolution of the instability related to the commercial product . To achieve this objective, a series of preparations are made and followed by tests characterizations. It is an organoleptic assessment, a physicochemical and microbial characterization by the determination of pH, density, viscosity, particle size, sedimentation speed, contents of the pure active substance and preservatives and the achievement of a test of the effectiveness of antimicrobial preservation.
The results and the evaluations that were obtained allowed us to examine the effectiveness of the new formula and to move toward the development of a new flowshart of production.
