J'ai lu dans un livre :
la phrase affirmative suivante :Phillip gave the dog a bone.
la phrase interrogative relative à la phrase affirmative:
To whom was a bone given ? (the dog)
Je propose la phrase interrogative suivante:
To whom did Phillip give a bone ? (to the dog)
A qui Phillip donnait-il un os? (au chien)
Merci de me donner votre avis sur ma phrase interrogative

Hello,
Philip gave the dog a bone. (simple past)
The dog was given a bone by Philip. (simple past passive)
Did Philip give the dog a bone? (question simple past)
Was the dog given a bone by Philip? (question simple past passive)
They are all correct. It dépends on what you want.
